When you log in using a Windows Hello PIN, it authenticates you to your local machine, these credentials are not necessarily passed to network resources. Only passwords can be used for securing shared folders on Windows. Therefore, a PIN cannot be used as a remote authentication method to access a secure shared folder on another device.
Windows Hello disrupts SMB access login to SMB shares. To enable SMB login, you must disable Windows Hello login, whether it's PIN or biometric, as all these methods interfere with SMB access login.
