Hi,

We developed and OpenID Connect application with all parameters required to publish on Microsoft Entra application gallery for a SSO application.

When I went to the submitted page I saw this note: "We are currently not accepting new SSO or provisioning requests while we focus on the Secure Future Initiative. Update requests will be processed on a case-by-case basis."

I have 2 questions:

  • When will Microsoft open again the submission for new SSO application?
  • If my application is publish on MS Store, can you please provide the steps how corporate users can add my application on their Entra as a SSO application with OIDC? I received few questions over this topic and I cannot find easily a reference on MSN Learn.

    Hello @Claudio Roselli,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

We understand that you would like to know When will Microsoft open again the submission for new SSO application?

Unfortunately, there is no official update regarding when Microsoft will resume the submissions for new gallery applications. It is recommended to refer this below document for regular updates: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/whats-new-docs

If my application is publish on MS Store, can you please provide the steps how corporate users can add my application on their Entra as a SSO application with OIDC? I received few questions over this topic and I cannot find easily a reference on MSN Learn.

After your application is published as a gallery application, users can follow the below steps to configure OIDC-based SSO for an application:

Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as at least a Cloud Application Administrator

Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications > All applications

In the All applications pane, select New application

The Browse Microsoft Entra Gallery pane opens and displays tiles for cloud platforms, on-premises applications, and featured applications. Applications listed in the Featured applications section have icons indicating whether they support federated SSO and provisioning.

    1. Select Sign-up. Sign in with the user account credentials from Microsoft Entra ID. If you already have a subscription to the application, then user details and tenant information is validated. If the application isn't able to verify the user, then it redirects you to sign up for the application service.

Complete the consent screen for an application.

    1. Select Consent on behalf of your organization and then select Accept. The application is added to your tenant and the application home page appears.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Janaki,

Thanks for your feedback. Over your answer to my question:

"If my application is publish on MS Store, can you please provide the steps how corporate users can add my application on their Entra as a SSO application with OIDC? I received few questions over this topic and I cannot find easily a reference on MSN Learn. "

Your answer was focused when application is published in the gallery application. Which today is not open for new applications.

Can you point me the method and procedure, for a Entra administrator for application not on the gallery and the application support OIDC and it's on the MS Store?

    Regards,
