I'm auto signed into my Office 365, Intune and Azure account.

Im trying to purchase Azure credit but it asks over and over for code from authenticator app.

It's for account ******@ecosense088.onmicroft.com

I coudn't even ask this question from that account as it asked for the authenticator app code again.

I have the app but that asks for a QR code to scan or manually enter a code but no QR or code is displayed when it keep asking me for the authenticator app code and I'm going around in circles.

I can still sign into microsoft 365 but can't view account details and it asks to athenticate again with the app. It's getting ridiculous.

    Hello @dan bull,

    Thank you for connecting offline.

As we discussed, your issue relates to a tenant lockout situation where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary admin rights to re-register MFA.

To resolve this, we need to involve our Data Protection team through a support ticket. Since you are unable to raise a ticket from your end, I have submitted one on your behalf. Please connect with our support team via the ticket, and they will assist you in resolving the issue.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

@dan bull, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For your scenario, it is because mandatory multifactor authentication (MFA) is enforced for the Microsoft Entra admin center, Microsoft Azure portal, and the Microsoft Intune admin center.

For this account, if we have configured Microsoft Authenticator authentication for this account on Phone before, then we can receive the code to do the authentication on the app of the Phone. However, if we don't configure this, we can access to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ with your account and update your security info to add the Microsoft Authentication on your Phone. During the setup, it will display QR code to scan.

Hope the above information can help.
