Now we wanted to know what is Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2022, the term "Single Language" means?

Does it means it supports inly one language i.e. English

I have not found the official documentation to explain the "Single Language" of Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2022.

Could you please share with us where did you see that?

I guess it is more related with license of SQL Server, you can go to Volume Licensing Service Center support. Please choose region/language and choose to call or have web. People there will help you more effectively.

And we have opted for

Believe, In Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2022, the term "Single Language" means that the SQL Server installation supports only one language for the user interface, messages, and system metadata i.e., If team works in a single language (e.g., English), this won’t be an issue, and also, we don’t need the Multilingual version.

So, Unlike the "Multilingual" version, which allows switching between multiple languages, the "Single Language" version is locked to one language at installation.

SQL Server installation supports only one language for the user interface

SQL Server is a server system and don't have a real user interface = GUI.

And regarding messages, SQL Server supports here 22 different languages.

Where did you find this "Microsoft® SQL Server Standard 2022 Single Language"? When I google for it, I only find this thread.

There are different languages editions available for SQL Server. Not a whole lot, but there are German, French, Spanish versions and a few more. Since SQL Server does not have much of a UI, it does not really matter. But the default language will be German/French/etc so you will get messages in these languages. And the UI in SQL Server Configuration Manager will be in that language.

I don't recall having heard of any multi-language. I recall that I once tried to install a German and a French instance on the same machine, but this failed, because there was a collision of the ODBC drivers.

My guess is that this "Single language" is something some vendor slapped on, since there are Microsoft products that are multi-language.
