Exercise in Azure portal

Question

Hi Support,

I'm trying to complete a training exercise, but it is redirecting me to Azure home page with a prompt to 'Start with an Azure free trial'. Do I need to sign up to azure to complete this exercise?

In other exercises that I previously completed; Azure CLI used to appear right on the training screen to activate the sandbox environment without the need of separate account. Can I launch the sandbox version of Azure portal in the same manner without the need of creating a separate account? Please advise.

Create a storage account

In this task, you'll create a new storage account.

1. Sign in to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com

Hello,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

You don't need to sign up to Azure to complete this exercise. This exercise offers a sandbox account. You can activate the sandbox and go to https://portal.azure.com with the same login used to activate the sandbox.

After login, Please search for subscriptions and you should be able to see a sandbox subscription available for an hour to use. Using this subscription you should be able to complete the exercise.
