I have tried everything I can read to try and solve this. I’ve upgraded via dvd to Windows 20H2 in attempting to solve no internet on either Ethernet or WiFi connection!

When I run ipconfig I get no adapters.

    Hello @1963Fuelie ,

I see that you have the "Trend Micro NDIS 6.0 Filter Driver" bound to your adapter. With the aim of eliminating anything that might be contributing to the problem, one could try temporarily uninstalling it.

Can you just reassure us that the event logs have been scoured for possibly related entries?

Do you have the know-how and tools to make live kernel memory dumps? It is a long shot, but to check that the basics are in place one could use the ndiskd extension to check the miniports:

If you can easily get this information, then we could drill down further. However, this is probably equivalent of using a hammer to crack a nut.

    Hello @1963Fuelie ,

[Apologies if this message appears twice - I posted it about 2 hours ago, but could not find it later - even in the "Activity" section of my profile.]

May I ask again, whether you have scoured the event log for possibly related events? I guess that you have but it would be nice to have that confirmed.

I mentioned the ndiskd (NDIS Kernel Debugger extension) possibility in case you had the necessary tools already installed and experience of using them (Debugging Tools for Windows, live system kernel memory dumping utility, etc.). It would be too big an undertaking to pursue this approach without that background.

Can you show the values of the Bind and Export entries in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Linkage?
