Hi @Jack Finn ,
Alphanumeric Sender ID (SID) doesn’t have an expiration date and remains valid once registered. However, to ensure your SMS messages are delivered without issues, make sure your SID follows the UK's current regulations.
- Your Sender ID should match your brand or company name. Avoid generic names like
INFO,
ALERT,
orVERIFY,
as they may be blocked.

- Make sure to check that your SID only includes permitted special characters, such as periods (.), dashes (-), underscores (_), spaces ( ), and ampersands (&). Other special characters, like @, $, and #, are not allowed.
- check whether your chosen Sender ID belongs to a protected brand, as certain brands require pre-registration to prevent misuse. Using such SIDs without proper authorization may result in message blocking.

- Regularly review updates from your SMS service provider or relevant regulatory bodies regarding any changes to SID requirements.
By ensuring compliance with these guidelines, your Alphanumeric Sender ID will remain valid without requiring renewal.
Hope this helps.
