SQL server Developer edition Connects but fails because of certificate

Hi i am new to SQL Server, i just downloaded it and installed the developer edition. i want to have a go at it through tutorials.

Here i have issues launching it. whenever i try to connect using SSMS it gives me this error code below. i will need a guide to get this sorted out.
