Clients are not downloading Updates from WSUS

Hi

I have a WSUS running on a Windows Server 2016 in my Domain. All PCs in my Domain run Windows 10 Pro.
Recently I have an issue that some PCs do not download some Updates. The Connection is there, it sees the update, but never gets further than showing 0% completion on the download.

I have not yet found any pattern to the affected Updates. Most of the MS Office 2016 updates are affected though, as well as the Cummulative Updates and one MS Defender Antivirus antimalware platform update. Some PCs downloaded them without issue though, while others get stuck with the mentioned problem.

On the Server side I have tried clearing the downloaded Updates from WSUS and downloading them again, restarting the WSUS and the WSUS Server, and removing the affected PCs and adding them again.

On the Client side I have tried restarting the service and clearing the download folders (and of course rebooting the PCs).

Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

Anybody have an idea how to proceed?

Thanks in advance

Hello, thank you for your prompt reply.

I have gone through your suggested troubleshooting steps.

1: up and running, updates are approved and downloaded, and already properly installed on other clients

    2: GP points to WSUS

3-5: done, server can be pinged, some updates are downloaded regularly, others stop at 0%

    6: no relevant errors found

7: done regularly, affected updates also deleted and downloaded again

8: affected updates clearly marked as INSTALL for the relevant Clients

9: plenty of free space available

10: the log file found showed no errors

11: I am not versed enough in ISS to do this, but since it does work on the affected clients most of the time, it should be fine.

12: plenty of free space available

    13: no issues afaics

14: WSUS updates auto approved, should be up to date

15: no relevant third party software on either client or Server

I have checked event logs after troubleshooting and found error logs with the IDs: 10010, 10005 (param1: 1115, param 2: wuauserv)). I am currently investigating this, but if anybody has seen this before and knows how to fix it any help would be appreciated.
