Shrink AD FS Tracing/Debug maximum log size after misconfiguration

Howdy. I did something extremely dumb. While setting up AD FS Tracing/Debug logging I set the Maximum log size WAY too large. I'm getting the sense that it may have been on the order of a terabyte when I meant 100mb.

After enabling the setting I'm getting "Event Viewer cannot open the event log or custom view. Verify that Event Log service is running or query is too long. There is not enough space on the disk. (112)"

The properties of the debug log are all disabled so I can't change it there.

I increased the free disk space to have 160gb free but am still getting the error.

I've tried to find the "MaxSize" setting in the registry for this log but could not find it.

Help? Google is failing me.
