Exclude SQL server updates from Windows Update

How can we stop Windows updates from automatically downloading and installing SQL Server updates? When I manually deployed a Windows update on my database server (EC2 instance, Windows Server 2019 Datacenter edition), I discovered that several SQL server upgrades were also installed, which resulted in the restart of SQL services.

How can we prevent this from happening again?  I only want the OS patch to be installed when Windows is updated, not the SQL server updates.
