error while deploying image

Question

server 2019 with MDT just getting this error message

"unable to locate result.xml failure"

tried to delete all content and rebuild and update image from boot folder as i found other people suggested it

didn't worked for me

i don't understand the log files to read the problem and find a solution

please assist

Hi I've compared to other server that we have and there's no result.xml inside the deployment share folder and it works.

also, i compare the ntfs and share permissions and they are the same.

please help.

where exactly should i find the right place for the logs to determine the problem to be solve?

you can find the log files in the following locations on the MDT deployment server:

C:MININTSMSOSDOSDLOGS

Alternatively, you can press the 'F8' key during deployment to open a command prompt window and enter the following command to view the log files:

notepad X:WindowsTempDeploymentLogsBDD.log

Note that you will need to replace the 'X' with the drive letter on your deployment server.

Search for "unable to locate result.xml failure" in the log file to find more details about the error.
