Hi Jing Zhou, Any update on this one? I have also filed a feedback for same. Let me know if there are any workaround available to mitigate this issue. Thanks.
Windows 11 24H2 having issue when ethernet and WiFi both connected
Hi All,
After upgrading my 5 systems on Win11 24H2, I started facing an issue as below,
- System having Ethernet and Wi-Fi interface connected and having network connectivity
- Wi-Fi interface having interfacemetric configured as lower, so I want normal traffic passing through should go through Wi-Fi interface
- Installed tightvnc server on Windows system
- From remote machine I try to access VNC through Ethernet IP and I can see traffic being received on Ethernet interface, but when VNC reply is being send it is being send through Wi-Fi interface and that is breaking the communication.
- If I disable Wi-Fi interface then I can access VNC through Ethernet IP without issue
On other Win11 23H2 it was working as expected and did not face an issue.

2025-02-12T10:52:43+00:00 I have the same issue with the integrated LTE adapter in notebook. When I connect network without internet connection to ethernet port then cellular network is killed.
I tried to change priority with command set-NetIPInterface but unsuccessful. On the windows 10 was working, windows 11 24H2 not.
