WSUS Error

Hi All,

Have configured a WSUS server which having issues and unable to get any updates. The firewall have been configured to allow outbound requests to Microsoft URLS on port 80/443. I can see traffic going out to update.microsoft.com.

  1. Error without Proxy

WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.

at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)

   at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)

   at Microsoft.UpdateServices.ServerSync.ServerSyncLib.Authenticate(AuthorizationManager authorizationManager, Boolean checkExpiration, ServerSyncProxy proxy, Cookie cookie, WebServiceCommunicationHelper webServiceHelper)

  1. Error with Proxy Defined 

WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 52.152.180.151:443
