How to fix Bitlocker Error: WMI method EncryptAfterHardwareTest failed with code 0x80310028?

Question

Hi Microsoft Community, just wondering on how to fix the error that I encounter when I use an Endpoint Management tool(Tanium) to enforce a bitlocker drive encryption policy. It says that the "WMI method EncryptionAfterHardwareTest failed with code 0x80310028"? We already waited for more than 3 hours but the encryption is still not proceeding on the drive D.

Then after that few hours the status changes into "verified items with 0 errors, 0 partial, 1 none. BitLocker FDV Deny Write (LGPO): 0 of 1 settings;"
