how to fix grey screen on startup

first time starting up the computer it started acting weird, it wouldnt open task manager and i could pull up windows with the windows key. then after restarting it's been stuck in a grey screen ever since. Ive tried to uninstall latest quality update and that didnt work either

Based on my understanding of this problem, I suspect that the problem may be caused by missing or damaged system files. I suggest that you open the command prompt as an administrator and run the following command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth 

sfc /scannow
