reinstalled windows 11 and now my PC thinks I don't have wifi but I can browse the internet

had to reinstall windows on my computer due to a gray screen and now that ive logged in, my computer is telling me theres no wifi even with ethernet plugged in.

ive tried uninstalling and updating drivers
restarted my computer

looked at other solutions and nothing has worked

    Based on the description, I understand your question is related to win 11.

    Press Win + X and select Device Manager. Expand the Network adapters section. Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties. Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Go to the Advanced tab and ensure that the settings are correctly configured for your network.

    Go to the manufacturer's website for your network adapter or your computer's manufacturer. Download the latest drivers for your network adapter. Install the drivers and restart your computer.

    Press Win + I to open Settings. Go to Update & Security. Click on Troubleshoot in the left pane. Select Additional troubleshooters. Click on Internet Connections and run the troubleshooter. Follow the prompts to fix any detected issues.
