When creating an Azure free account, a small charge (like 2 INR) is sometimes temporarily debited from your credit card for verification purposes. This amount is usually a hold and should be removed within three to five days. However, if you are redirected back to the credit card verification page and your subscription isn’t activated, it could indicate an issue with the verification process.
Here are a few things you can check to resolve this:
- Check your billing address matches the information you entered during the sign-up process.
- Try signing up using a different browser or device, as this can sometimes resolve the issue.
- Review your account profile to check all details are correct and there are no errors.
