I am trying to sign into MS Word using my university account to avail the 'Office 365 A1 Plus for students' offer. However, I keep encountering the error code 80192EE7. I have followed the instructions on Microsoft's documentation but couldn't find the 'Add' button in the device section of Intune.

Here are the details:

Error Message: 'Your account was not set up on this device because device management could not be enabled. ERROR CODE: 80192EE7'

As you can see below

Steps Tried: Followed the instructions on Microsoft's documentation "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune-service/enrollment/device-enrollment-manager-enroll" but couldn't find the 'Add' button.

Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.

  1. Go to Devices > Enrollment.
  2. Select the Device enrollment managers tab.
  3. Choose Add.
  4. In the User name field, enter the user principal name of the user you're adding.
  5. Select Add. The new device enrollment manager is added to the list of DEM users.

Any guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated!

@SYED MURTAZA HAIDER Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

Based on my check Office 365 A1 Plus for student, Intune license is not listed in it. It is suggested to contact your admin to check if your account has an Intune license. Without Intune license, it will fail when you do device enrollment.

Intune license is included in the following licenses:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune-service/fundamentals/licenses#microsoft-intune-plan-1

Hope it will give you some ideas.
