My Azure SQL database is stuck on pausing. The database is meant to autopause after an hour aof inactivity and then unpause when it detects activity. This has worked fine for years. Today it is stuck on pausing

Which Azure region is the database in?

Is the issue still occurring, or is it working now?

Please be informed that there was an outage in UK south region today.

I kindly request you to please confirm if your Azure SQL database is in UK south region or not.

If it is in UK south region, I request you to please refresh the portal and confirm if your database is back to online state or not, as the outage is mitigated.

As mentioned earlier, your SQL database went into a stuck state due to the UK South region outage. This was a known issue that occurred in the region, impacting multiple customers. Our team has investigated and resolved the issue successfully. Services are now fully restored, and customers should no longer be experiencing any disruptions.

Kindly please confirm, whether your database is healthy or not.

Apparently there was a general problem in Azure UK South. They fixed it :)

Also I was trying to find support option and inadvertently used this
