I am having issues connecting my URL from square space to my storage account static website. Any guidance please?

I actually want other users to access my website and see the content, so I am assuming I have to follow the first choice provided? "If you need HTTPS enabled, follow this guide: **Map a custom domain with HTTPS enabled. The approach involves using Azure Front Door (preferred) or Azure CDN which are Content Delivery Network services offered by Azure.?"

Option 1: Using HTTP-only access which means users won't have encrypted connections to your storage blob or static web content. If security and privacy aren't a concern for your specific use case. you can follow the below guide for mapping a custom domain with HTTP for storage account static website.

Steps:- To map a custom domain with HTTP for storage account static website.

Enable Static Website Hosting

In the Azure portal, navigate to your storage account.

Under Data Management, select Static website.

Enable static website hosting and note the Primary endpoint URL (e.g., https://mystorageaccount.z5.web.core.windows.net).

Get Your Custom Domain

Ensure you have a custom domain registered with a domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap).

Create a CNAME Record

Sign in to your domain registrar's website.

Add a CNAME record in the DNS settings:

Host: The subdomain you want to use (e.g., www).

Points to: The static website endpoint (e.g., mystorageaccount.z5.web.core.windows.net).

After adding the TXT record. it is still showing as no connected.

We checked your domain and couldn't find the TXT record. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Please try re-adding the TXT record and testing it.

User's image Since your domain is hosted by a third party, please check with your domain provider to find out why the TXT record is not delegating after being added.

Once the TXT record is added, your domain validation will pass successfully.
