provider is not capable of the attempted operation

Hi,

Two applications in the Software Center stuck at 0% downloading. I tried to delete the deploying from WMI root\ccm\clientSDK:CCM_Application and received the below message.

Stopped SMS Agent Host service and tried again. Got the same message.

Applications are available in DP. I uninstalled SCCM Agent and installed back. Two applications downloaded and installed.

Please let me know why message in the above screenshot appeared?
Also how can this issue resolved without uninstall and install of SCCM client

    Hi @Boopathi S ,

    The 0x80041024 error means that provider cannot perform the requested operation. This can include a query that is too complex, retrieving an instance, creating or updating a class, deleting a class, or enumerating a class (source).

    Did you checked the client log files to understand why the download stuck at 0%?

    If the issue is resolved after uninstall/install the client, maybe there was an error of some client components.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
    Downloads stuck at 0% is almost always content not distributed, boundary or boundary groups not setup for the client, or not allowing fallback if the client is intentionally not in a boundary group.
    Check locationservices.log and ContentTransferManager.log will get more details.
