Unable to create Standard_NC4as_T4_v3 in Azure Machine Learning. Getting Standard_E4ds_v4 instead.

Issue: I am trying to create a Standard_NC4as_T4_v3 compute instance in Azure Machine Learning, but at the final step, I only get the Standard_E4ds_v4 VM instead. Additionally, when selecting GPU-enabled instances, I see the message: "You do not have enough quota for the following VM sizes."

Steps Taken:

Selected Standard_NC4as_T4_v3 in Azure Machine Learning compute creation.

Verified available VM sizes but did not see NCas_T4_v3 series in any region.

Checked quota limitations, but no clear indication if GPU quotas are exhausted.

Questions:

Why is Standard_NC4as_T4_v3 not available even in regions where it should be?

How can I check if my subscription lacks GPU quota?

How do I request a quota increase for GPU-based VM sizes?

The unavailability of the Standard_NC4as_T4_v3 VM size in the regions you checked could be due to regional availability constraints. Not all VM sizes are available in every region.

To check your GPU quota in Azure, you can follow these steps:
Sign in to the Azure portal and enter "quotas" into the search box, then select Quotas. This page provides a comprehensive view of your quota usage and allows you to request quota increases directly.

To request a quota increase for GPU-based VM sizes, you can follow these steps:
To request a quota increase, go to the Azure Portal, search for Quotas, and select My Quotas. Filter by the required VM family, select the VM size, and click Request Quota Increase. Enter the new quota limit and submit the request.

as per your given suggestion, i was trying to do the things, but i am not getting NCas_T4_v3 in the list . NDASv4_100 is different GPU .So can you guide me to get NCas_T4_v3 series ?As i need GPU.

You can search for NCas_T4_v3 series in above family tiers and enter your desired quota as mentioned in above screenshot.

It will create a support ticket for confirmation and assignment in same or other available regions

Thank you for following up. Here is the step-by-step procedure to raise GPU quota

Please try to create a new compute in your azure machine learning studio under computes
Toggle to GPU and click on "Click here to view and request quota"
Select Standard NCASv3_T4 family cluster dedicate to CPU (GPU quota here) as mentioned in below screenshot and enter request quota then put new Core limit and hit submit.
