Ms copilot studio Agent Fails to Respond in Microsoft Teams, it worked for a day, then the day after it was not responding at all.

We have build a Ms copilot studio Agent and on editable mode working as expected, then we tried connecting agent with MS teams but it Fails to Respond in Microsoft Teams. Please help as its impacting our work.

Thanks for asking reaching out.If the MS Copilot Studio Agent is not responding in Teams at all you can check these things Make sure that the agent is given the appropriate permissions to access the required resources when it is deployed in Teams. This involves turning on authentication for Teams users and including scopes like Files.Read.All and Sites.Read.All. Also, set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for Teams to facilitate smooth authentication and authorization. The Publish button in Copilot Studio gets the agent ready to publish but doesn't publish it automatically to any channel. You will have to manually add the agent to Teams. Please Make sure the agent is properly set up and all required settings are turned on, like "upload custom apps." Also double-check authentication settings and permissions

John Gootee 0 Reputation points2025-05-05T19:47:16.3966667+00:00 I am experiencing a similar issue. I used the default setup for Authentication which is Authenticate with Microsoft. This supposed to automatically setup the authentication to work with Teams (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/configuration-end-user-authentication#authenticate-with-microsoft). I have single SharePoint site setup as the datasource to use. I have the channel set to only Teams/Copilot. I have published successfully and shared it to invidivuals. I install the chat app, but it never responds. It doesn't respond for me or people I have shared it with. It works fine in the copilot studio test panel.
