I have a sharepoint list and would like to freeze columns for scrolling purposes. As far as i can tell it cannot be achieved by normal means. However, i notice that my first column is frozen and am wondering if this can be expanded beyond the first column? Also, how was i able to freeze the first column, or is that just standard with sharepoint lists? example below, my ID# column is frozen and can scroll all other columns behind it. I would like to expand this to be able to freeze the first 5 columns.

i do have a customized form that i created with power apps. That is the only unique item on my list. No other special formatting.

    Hi Ben,

Good day! Welcome to Q&A forum.

Currently, SharePoint Online has limitations when it comes to pinning multiple columns, only the first column is pinned in the modern UI. This is a current platform limitation.

    1. First Column Freeze: This is standard behavior in SharePoint's modern list views - the first column remains visible during horizontal scrolling
    2. No Native Multi-Column Freeze: Microsoft doesn't provide an out-of-the-box way to freeze multiple columns

    Hope these information helps.
