We are avid users of the OpenAI whisper service but we would love to use the new better gpt-4o-transcribe and its mini variant for its better and less resource intensive transcription. These models are unfortunately only available in global standard which is hosted it seems in eastus2. For us it is essential that our data does not leave the EU. Will this model also be released within a EU region soon?

    @saideep anchuri

    I also have a need for GPT-4o-transcribe within the european data region.

    You posted "Solution: The issue is resolved. That you see now that 4o-transcribe is available in Sweden.".

    However when I look at the AI Foundry documentation, it's available in Sweden-Central, but only under a Global Standard setting. This means that the data can be routed outside of Europe, which is not allowed compliance wise etc for my client and use case.

    Is there a plan of hosting the transcribe models in a European region (eg Swec) via Data Zone Standard or Standard?
