To earn the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, you must:
Pass the AZ-400 and hold one of the following prerequisite associate-level certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), or
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
Since you mentioned you completed the AZ-400 exam on March 31, 2024, you must also have AZ-104 or AZ-204 to be eligible for the expert certification.
There is no specific deadline to pass AZ-204 (or AZ-104), but:
- You won’t be awarded the DevOps Expert certification until both requirements (AZ-400 + one prerequisite cert) are met.
