Hello,

I'm currently facing an issue logging into my Azure Portal account. When I attempt to log in, the portal requests a 6-digit verification code. However, the Microsoft Authenticator app on my smartphone only generates an 8-digit code, making it impossible to complete the verification step.

My situation appears identical to the one described in this post:

Can't log in to Azure Portal

Specifically, I understand this issue occurs due to an incomplete MFA process. My account is a personal account, and I am the sole global administrator, meaning I am currently unable to resolve this issue independently.

Based on previous responses, I believe I need assistance from Microsoft support, potentially involving the Data Protection team, to regain access.

Could someone from the support team please guide me on how to proceed? Let me know the appropriate steps or whom to contact directly to resolve this issue.

Thank you very much for your assistance!

    Hello @夏影 ,

Thank you for sharing details over private message.

The issue relates to a tenant lockout situation where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary admin rights to re-register MFA.

To resolve this, we engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. Please connect with our support team via the ticket, and they will assist you in resolving the issue.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
