Visual Studio Upgrade issue

Hi. I am having some issues upgrading from Visual studio Community version 2022 to Professional version 2022. In the community version, I cannot find upgrade subscription. I updated the Community version but the option Help> My Subscription> Product Keys does not initiate any popup to change my product key. Tried signing out of the account and login but did not work.

What is the error? Is it even possible to upgrade from Visual Studio Community Version 2022 to Professional Version 2022 using product key or any other means?

You cannot upgrade Visual Studio 2022 Community edition directly to Professional edition from within the Community version-there is no in-app upgrade or "upgrade subscription" option for this[1][3]. Instead, you need to:

• Download the Visual Studio Professional 2022 installer from the official Visual Studio website[7][8].
• Run the installer and install the Professional edition as a separate instance alongside your Community edition[1][3].
• After installation, sign in with your Professional license or enter your product key.

You can then uninstall the Community edition if you no longer need it. There is no way to enter a Professional product key into the Community edition to convert it in place[1][3].
