How do you add a spectrum email account to outlook using IMAP protocol

I am trying to add Spectrum email to New Outlook using the IMAP Protocol. I keep getting an error message that says that I need an App Password. Four different tech support people at Spectrum have told me that they have no such thing. Help!

Please check your settings first:

User's image If the settings are correct and the account still cannot be added, it is recommended that please try to configure the account as POP type. Reference Links: Has anyone on here discovered the app password for Spectrum so the - Microsoft Community
