I’ve looked into this, and it appears that there is no built-in or direct method to receive email alerts specifically for synchronization errors in Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync. To monitor Entra Cloud Sync and set up alerts for events such as sync failures, you can leverage Azure Monitor. It allows for the creation of custom alerts based on key provisioning events.

Azure AD Connect Health is intended to monitor the synchronization health of Azure Entra Connect (from on-premises AD to Entra ID). It currently does not support integration with Entra Cloud Sync for monitoring or alerting on features like group writeback.
Entra Cloud Sync does have a default email notification feature, which is limited to accidental deletion scenarios. To configure it:
• Enter the desired recipient address in the Notification email field.
• Enable the Prevent accidental deletions option.
• Set the Accidental deletion threshold, which determines the number of deletions that will trigger a notification.
