Microsoft Authentificator asks me to approve the connection and shows me the 2-digit code but there!s no pop-up or window showing to enter the code afterwards. The screen stays on the 2-digit code untill the time has passed.

Please help me... I need to acces my work-account on my phone.

    Hi @Judith

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I know how uncomfortable it feels when you need to access your work account on your phone but the final authentication step does not work as expected. Here are some ways you can try to solve your problem:

Option 1: Have you recently switched to a new phone or made any changes to the device you are using the Authenticator app on?

    • If there is a change in your phone/device, please try login again and check if your old phone's Authenticator app still works properly. After login successfully you can do these following steps to make sure that you can complete your authentication in your new device:

Option 2: Try to access your work account on web office by sign in to your account via this link https://office.com/ and see if your Authenticator app works properly.

Option 3: If option 2 did not work well, you can try to use an alternate verification option

    • On the same “Enter code” screen, look for a tiny link that says, “I don’t have a code” or “Use a different verification option.”
    •  If you register a phone number, choose Text or Voice call

After tried all the option above but you still can't sign in to your account on any other platform on your phone, please contact your IT team at your organization and ask them to follow this article: LINK to reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA), allowing you to re-register Microsoft Authenticator.

Hope these options that mentioned above can help you access your work account on your phone. If you encounter any issues or have further update, please don't hesitate to reply to my answer once you have any replies/updates
