I don't remember my password

Question

I have never used my one drive and have forgotten my password. I am new to one drive and now need it to work with my Church group one the various spread sheets they share

No worries let’s walk through this together so you can start sharing with the members of your church. We’ll do it in two short parts: 

Step 1: Reset your Microsoft password 

1/On any device, open your web browser and go to: https://account.microsoft.com , click Sign in ➜ Enter your account then click Forgot password? 

2/Choose the way that you want to get verify, then follow the on-screen instructions, and you should be able to reset your password 

Step 2. Set up OneDrive 

On a Windows PC 

1/Click the white/blue cloud icon near the clock (bottom-right).

If you don’t see it, type OneDrive in the Start menu and open it. 

2/When the OneDrive window appears, enter your email + the new password.

3/Accept the default folder location (or choose another) ➜ Next until you see Open my OneDrive folder.

4/A new “OneDrive – <Your Name>” folder opens. Anything you put here is automatically backed up online.

• On other devices Phone/tablet: install the free “Microsoft OneDrive” app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in.  – Web browser: go to https://onedrive.com and sign in

Final Step: Work with your Church group’s spreadsheets 

• Ask the group to share the folder or file with your Microsoft email. 
• You’ll get an email invitation, click Open and it launches in Excel for the web. 
• Edit away; changes save automatically for everyone.
