Dear Samuel Cárdenas
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand how frustrating and inconvenient it can be when the Microsoft Authenticator app doesn't display a verification code—especially when you're trying to access important services. You're not alone, and we're here to help you through this.
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Microsoft Authenticator app installed as older versions might not support all features. To get the latest version, please check Download Microsoft Authenticator - Microsoft Support
- If you're using VPN, try disconnecting to see if the issue persists. Please try to switch to another stable network as well.
- Check for Prompts: Sometimes, the app might not immediately show the input field. Ensure the app is unlocked and look for any pop-up windows or prompts within the app.
- If you are the end user or if you are admin but there are other admins, I suggest contacting your admin and ask to re-register the Authentication method for your account. Admin can do it by follow Manage user authentication options. (If you are not sure who is your admin, can refer this How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support).
