One Drive - How to fix not all subfolders being shared

In the last couple weeks several users of our One Drive no longer can see all the subfolders. At the highest level is a folder called QU and the 11 guild chapters each have a subfolder under the main folder QU. I shared a view link to the QU president and they could see all the chapters until about 2 weeks ago and now they only see one of the 11 chapters. When I share the link with myself as a plain person, not the One Drive admin, I also only see the one chapter. We use Microsoft 365 Live.

I have read several help articles; there doesn't seem to be any advance setting button when I go to "Share / Manage Access".

We have had similar problems in other folders where a person could see all the subfolders a few days ago and now they only see a couple subfolders.

Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Stephanie

    Hi @QU,

Good day! Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I understand that you're experiencing an issue where you can't see all subfolders in some shared folders on OneDrive, for example, the "QU" folder and its sub-chapter folders.

I've researched and I also tested one method and found it to be quite fast and simple: creating a new folder and then moving the files. This might be a bit inconvenient, but I think maybe you should try it.

Additionally, you can find detailed information about Files and Folders in the official Microsoft documentation here: Share OneDrive files and folders - Microsoft Support

If you've tried and it still doesn't work, please create the ticket to Microsoft Support Team Contact - Microsoft Support

Hopefully, this helps clarify your situation. Please ask if you have any other questions. I'm always here and ready to help you with anything.
