    Hi Emma LawrencLawrence,

    Welcome to Q&A Forum!

Based on the information you have provided, you may be experiencing one of the following scenarios. Additionally, if you can access Facebook on any other devices, you may be able to navigate to Settings and adjust your authentication preferences.

1: You Can Access Facebook but Do Not Receive MFA Codes

If you can log into Facebook but are not receiving multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes, these steps may help:

Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Facebook

    • Access Facebook’s Security Settings (if you are still logged in on another device).
    • Disable Two-Factor Authentication to regain access.
    • Once logged in, re-enable 2FA and add Facebook back to Microsoft Authenticator.

    Re-add Facebook to Microsoft Authenticator

    • Open Microsoft Authenticator
    • Tap Add Account > Other Account (Google, Facebook, etc.)
    • Enter the Secret Key provided by Facebook.

2: You Cannot Access Facebook at All

If you are completely locked out of Facebook and cannot bypass the authentication process:

Use Alternative Login Methods for Facebook

Since you cannot access authentication codes, try logging in using:

    • Your registered phone number or email to receive a login code.
    • Trusted contacts (if previously set up) to verify your identity.

Additionally, you can visit the Facebook Help Centre for more help and resources. Please note, as a moderator, we cannot recover your Facebook account on your behalf.

I hope these methods help you regain access to your Facebook account. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, please don't hesitate to reply to my answer with any updates.

Important reminder: Microsoft is not responsible for Facebook account recovery. If you cannot regain access, please contact Facebook Support directly.
