Hi,

is there a way to export Microsoft Authenticator data?

I would like to export the OTP accounts secrets to import them in another authenticator for example.

There is no Microsoft Authenticator forum in the feedback portal though.

Can I access the OneDrive backup at least? Is it encrypted?

Yes, the backup is end-to-end encrypted. Here's how it works:

The OTP secrets and account data are encrypted using a key derived from your Microsoft account credentials.

Only the Microsoft Authenticator app on a device signed in with your account can decrypt and restore the data.

Even if you access the backup file in OneDrive, it will appear as unreadable encrypted data.
