    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A

    Microsoft has started submitting modules for FIPS 140-3, but as of mid-2025, Azure Storage still relies on FIPS 140-2 validated modules. Once 140-3 certifications are complete and in use, Microsoft will update this on the Service Trust Portal.
