Providing secure, identity-based access to private apps and resources without traditional VPNs
AFAIK, a Microsoft Entra ID P1 license is a prerequisite for using Microsoft Entra Private Access, but P1 alone does not include Private Access. It also enables Internet Access for Microsoft services, but not the full Private Access profile.
To enable Private Access for your contractors, you must have either:
- A standalone Microsoft Entra Private Access license per user ($5 /user/month), in addition to their P1 license, or
- The full Microsoft Entra Suite license ($12 /user/month), which includes Private Access plus additional Entra capabilities.
