Account is linked to work organization

I have been trying to delete my account (******@live.be) for months. However, I keep getting the message that I am still linked to a work organization.

Which is weird since I never did this.

I already checked with our internal IT department and they don't find anything either (Dustin Group).

Microsoft support had referred me to you guys to remove this from my account so I can delete it.

Can you help me further?

    Hi @Jarne Zephirin

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you have provided, looks like you cannot delete your account. This could be because you are a guest user or a member of an organization.

To check this, go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ > Organizations and check if any organizations listed there. If yes, click Leave.

Another scenario where you cannot leave an organization, it is because the policy of it. You will need to contact the admin of the organization to manually remove you.

You can find more details at Leave an Organization - Microsoft Entra External ID | Microsoft Learn

    I hope this information helps.
