Hi Team,

I have been trying to set up a custom domain for node9.co.uk, I have:

  1. Set this up in Entra as a Custom Domain
  2. Added the TXT record to my provider
  3. Checked that the TXT record is resolving (it is)
  4. Asked my domain provider (Fasthosts)

Still not authenticating, the DNS has been in place for over a week now. My ultimate goal to to have a directory for node9.co.uk as I want to be able to have SharePoint in the future

    Hello Toby Beevers,

Thank you for sharing the details over private message.

The issue relates to an unable to verify custom domain name as it is verified in different directory in Azure.

To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.

This was resolved by the Data Sec Team as the Domain had previously been associated with another Tenant ID. The only way to get this sorted was to speak with the team on a phone call and then took about 72 hours to get sorted, once done I have been able to verify the domain with the TXT record.
