Azure backup for SQL Instances on Windows Failover Clusters

Trying to configure backup for SQL Roles/instances in windows failover cluster ,however while discovering DBs ,instances are not shown

As per Microsoft document SQL server Failover Cluster Instance is not supported

Iam looking for way to backup SQL FCI in azure other than local backups , Can setting up Azure MABS helpful ?

Microsoft Azure Backup Server (MABS) provides backup and recovery for SQL Server databases. In addition to backing up SQL Server databases, you can run a system backup or full bare-metal backup of the SQL Server computer. You can use MABS to protect:

A standalone SQL Server instance
A SQL Server Failover Cluster Instance (FCI)
