As above, I received an email regarding renewal of my Microsoft Entra ID tenant. The email indicates that I need to make a purchase before July 7th to keep my account active.

As single user of Microsoft 365 do I need to do anything with this email.

    Hi @Myles Howe

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that t you have received an announcement about purchasing to active your tenant.

If the current tenant ID is different or not using business account, it will not affect your tenant, and your account.

Your Microsoft Entra ID tenant has been inactive, which means that no activity has occurred for more than 200 days. This inactivity could lead to the tenant being flagged for deactivation.

To continue using this tenant, you need to make a purchase before June 7, 2025. If you don't make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.

Please note that this email does not affect your data or personal account. If the tenant ID doesn't match or you are not using business account, please kindly ignore the email.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
