Hello,
What is the future of InfoPath forms? According to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2014/01/31/update-on-infopath-and-sharepoint-forms/
it is supported till 2023. Are there any more updates in this subject?
We are currently in SharePoint Server 2019 and the infopath forms work and are customizable.
Will the browser forms be supported in the future on-prem versions of sharepoint?
Will the browser forms be supported in the office365 version of sharepoint?

I'm asking this as in the future we might migrate either to on-prem or online versions.

thanks.

    Hi @Rani Kummari ,

    To answer your questions:

    1. InfoPath 2013 is the latest version of application released and there will be no more updates for this subject.
    2. In SharePoint on-premise, InfoPath Services will remain supported until 2026. To search Product and Services Lifecycle, please refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/
    3. In SharePoint Online, it is not recommended to use InfoPath to customize list form, Microsoft Power Apps is the latest recommended solution to replace InfoPath.

If you are using SharePoint server 2019, the Infopath is still in use and Power Apps license is only available in SharePoint Online.

For more information, please refer to the following articles:

    Thank you, LiZhang-MSFT
In order to use Power Apps, what extra licenses are required?
We have SharePoint server 2019 on-prem version. What extra licenses are required to create forms in power apps and for users to use it. Develop license/Reader license etc.
    please let me know.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2014/01/31/update-on-infopath-and-sharepoint-forms/

The article in link is from January 31, 2014 and quite dated. I shows the InfoPath 2013 client will be supported through April 2023. I wanted to confirm if this is still the date of the end of the mainstream support. I also found the following:

Listing Start Date Mainstream End Date Extended End Date
    Infopath 2013 Jan 9, 2013 Jul 13, 2021 Jul 14, 2026

Can anyone confirm the end dates?

    Hi

What will happen with InfoPath after its Extended End Date expires? Will it continue functioning in SharePoint Online?
