This is standard behaviour in both Excel for the Mac and PC. When the 'floating' formula suggestions box gets in the way, hover the mouse pointer over it. When the hand-symbol (Mac) or 4-arrowed crosshair (PC) appears, click it and drag the box out of the way.
Overlapping issue on Excel 365
Hi,
I'm having this overlapping issue with excel formula suggest on top and my named ranges recommendation in the background. I really cant see what is in the background. I'm Microsoft® Excel for Mac Version 16.97 (25051114). Mac is using Sequoia 15.5. Did someone face similar issue or is this a known issue?

Thank you for posting your question in the Q&A forum.
Based on the information you provided, I understand that you're experiencing an issue where formula suggestions are overlapping with named range recommendations, making it difficult to see the content in the background.
From my research, this may be a UI-related issue. You might consider testing the behavior using a different user account or in a different environment to see if the problem persists. In parallel, I will also run some tests in my own test environment to investigate further. However, I kindly ask for a bit of time to complete this.
In the meantime, please feel free to try the suggested workaround. If you have any updates or additional information, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could share them. I'm always here and ready to support you.
