Hi.
CPU utilization is O.K. here. My desktop PC is not an eligible device and does not meet the minimum hardware requirements.
Open Task Manager and see what process is causing CPU hog.
Hope this helps.

Greetings,
I have downloaded windows 11 beta on my intel i5 core 7th gen pc with gigabyte h110m-h motherboard, 8gb ram and 128gb wd ssd. The problem is that i have noticed high cpu usage ever since i installed it. Not sure why but the cpu is always being hogged by something.
Thanks

Have similar issue-
Explorer, Eventlog and Local system service utilizes almost all CPU:
Abnormal disk activity by Event log service - but there are no any "event storm" in logs...
Manual stop of eventlog service, restarting explorer and killing Local system service - temporary fixing the ussue until restart
Greetings
Yes same issue
High CPU usage and high temperatures on Windows 11
Dell i5 8TH Gen temps r between 50/94 degrees going to install windows 10 see if that helps
Same for me, I posted detailed feedback on the feedback hub but I think it got grouped with older versions of this problem and I'm not sure it's gonna get looked over soon. I'm on a Lenovo Yoga C940. This was not happening before the update.
