No Malware on local disk E

My flexdrive turn into local disk f(now today it is disk E) that was a week ago I can't open the files I have on it. Is there a way to retrieve them? I have windows 11. Thank You

Thanks - the next step is chkdsk aka Disk Check.
In the Windows search,
type cmd, right-click it, and choose run as administrator.
execute: chkdsk E: /f
Command and see if the files recover using disk check.
