Cannot hide extensions from toolbar

I just went to use Edge and the extension icon had appeared in my toolbar, I right clicked it and selected to hide it but then suddenly all my extension icons appeared on my toolbar taking up space. I now cannot hide any extensions that don't need any interaction from me (such as antivirus etc.) and they are talking up a lot of space.

I tried uninstalling it, but all I could do was Repair it, but nothing worked. I cleared my cache etc and nothing worked. All bar one extension come from the Chrome Web Store.

You can also toggle the Extension Icon on in edge://settings/appearance.

Then you can hide the icons, but if you try to hid the "Extension" Icon it will spit out all other icons.

    Go to settings

    Then go to appearance

Then switch on "Show extension button"

Now, when you right click on a toolbar icon, the "hide from toolbar" option will be accessible
