Microsoft Edge error message keeps popping up and will not go away

An error message keeps popping up in a separate window saying that Edge has stopped working, even when Edge is open and working fine. When I either hit "X" or "Close program," the box opens back up again. I have tried closing the box through the Task Manager, but even then, the box will open itself back up again. If I close Edge and then close the pop-up box, it will stay closed, but then when I re-open Edge, the pop-up box opens up again. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Edge, but this has not fixed the issue, and neither has restarting my PC.

The version of Edge I am running: Version 87.0.664.60 (Official build) (64-bit)

The version of Windows 10 I am running: Windows 10 Home 20H2 19042.685

This is the error box i am receiving by the way.

    Here's the steps.

    Step 2: Run MediaCreationTool.exe.

This solution worked and the message no longer pops up.

One thing about Windows that I have noticed that is different since using the Media Tool is that when I am signing in, it now shows the Home Screen with the date and time, then when I click or hit space to sign in, the screen shows my user name and a button labeled "Sign in," and I have to click it, wait about a minute of it saying "Just a moment" and then a little box pops up for me to put my password in.

The way it used to be was that when I clicked on the Home Screen, it used to take me to the login page and it would have my username and a place to enter my password right under my username, without me first needing to click a "sign in" button. Is this a new Windows feature ad/or is there a way to change this?
