Prevent Microsoft Edge from adding Visual Search to my website

I have an eCommerce website and do not want Microsoft Edge to add a Visual Search button to my images. I think the Visual Search is unreasonable, adding external links to my website and allowing users to click away from my site. The only information on the web is Edge users turning off Visual Search, but nothing the website owner can do to turn off Visual Search. There should be a way to tag my website to prevent Edge from adding Visual Search. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Thank you for initiating this post. I agree this is illegal and a security violation. Microsoft should remove this default. There is a risk for a user clicking on other websites and Microsoft AI is making suggestions that are not approved. The developers/creators of the web site/page must be given the option to decide to add this browser option (the same way we handle display menus). This should not be a default. This visual search or hover on a web page is altering the creator's website/page. It is not a user's decision; it is the creator/developer of the web page's decision. I have no option except to inform my users not to use Edge until browser hover/visual search is removed, because it is difficult to find the setting to disable it. The instructions given on-line is not accurate. Also, I'm concerned about users clicking on other websites that may not be safe. Additionally, is information about the users clicking on these websites being collected (IPs, computer info, etc.)? I have submitted a request on their feedback regarding this. Hopefully, more web creators will do the same.

I think it's time to let others know, I'll share this on linkedin and tag some of the Microsoft developers. I hope everyone else will do the same.

I did use the feedback button and would be shocked to get a reply. It's time to take a stand. Google and Microsoft are playing with website owners without our involvement or permission. Enough is enough.
